Nature has always been, and will always remain, a major source of inspiration. Past attempts at landscape painting have proven to be disastrous. It's too vast, too grand, too much for me to handle... I can't seem to do it justice. Consequently I turn to the smaller events--the botanical study. There I can carefully observe, scrutinize and magnify nature's complexity and poetic design.
